Simon Davies

Head of Portfolio, Programmes and Projects (P3M), KBR

Simon joined KBR in 2009, previously working for Costain.  Prior to this he served 7 years in the Royal Engineers after attendance at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS).  With KBR he has been in consultancy and contracting roles, delivering major programmes and projects in the UK, Iraq, Qatar, Ethiopia, and Afghanistan. The industries he has worked within include defence, civil engineering, facilities maintenance, and oil/gas.

Simon is currently responsible for transforming P3M delivery across KBR EMEA region, leading the digital transformation of NextGen PMO solutions, and developing the workforce with new digital and data skills using new technologies.  His role also requires the capture of business best practices in the company portfolio, sharing innovation and knowledge.  As a proud veteran, he is also the current Chair of the KBR Armed Forces Community (AFC) Employment Resource Group (ERG).

Simon is a chartered project professional and Fellow of the Association for Project Management, and he volunteers in the APM Corporate Advisory Group and as an APM Awards Judge.   He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Oxford Brookes University, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Sheffield. He is married with two children, and as an active adventurer is always seeking new thrills, with a current passion for sailing.
