A buzzer beater ended College of Southern Idaho’s upset bid.
No. 14 Indian Hills Community College drained a 3-pointer as time expired and beat CSI, 69-68, on Saturday night in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Jaylon Johnson led CSI with 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting from the field and Asim Jones added 17. Jones boasts double-digits in each of his appearances this season.

Shahid Muhammad dropped 10 points for the second straight game and Jordan Hamilton scored 11 off the bench. Muhammad corralled nine rebounds and a career-high seven blocks.
Johnson also grabbed six rebounds and dished a team-high four assists.
Davontae Hall, who splashed the game winner, led IHCC with 15 points.
CSI shot 43.1% from the field and limited IHCC to 36.1%. IHCC dominated CSI on the boards, 50-34.

CSI (8-5) will host Utah Prep at 7 p.m. Friday and Eastern Wyoming College at 7 p.m. Saturday. The games will be part of the Hilex Poly/Physician’s Immediate Care Tourney. These are CSI’s final games of 2023.
