More about Kaylee McCurdy, in her own words
I am very involved in my school. I am the captain of the Girls Soccer team at Twin Falls High School. I have been on the team for four years, going to countless practices, games, and tournaments. I have dedicated many hours to the team, especially over the summer as I organized practices and scrimmages for the girls when, at the time, we didn’t have a coach.

I have also participated in the National Honors Society of Twin Falls High School since my sophomore year. This requires exceptional grades and attendance while also completing hours of community service. Several hours have come from volunteering at school events, such as registration and tutoring.
I have maintained a 3.97 GPA throughout many AP, Honors, and Dual Credit courses throughout high school. I have taken honors classes in Math, Science, English, and History from freshman year continuing into this current year.
I started a club HOSA this year, which is Health Occupations Students of America. This is a medical club that goes to many competitions and competes against other schools in many medical categories. Medical classes have always sparked my interest, so I am excited to partake in this club. I have to make sure I am putting in hard work to know my categories, working with my team, and actively participating in practice and meetings.
I am active in my Church Youth Counsel. I have served as a president and in the presidency for many years. I plan activities for the youth, gather supplies, help set things up, and help run events. I also reach out to the girls and help as many people as we can participate.
I have 28 credits at CSI, and I plan to get even more next semester. I am a hardworking student and I have worked very hard to maintain As in these courses as well. I am always up for a challenge and love taking the harder courses to push my limits.
For my Senior Project, I wanted to be very active in the community. Over the summer, I collected school supplies and made back-to-school kits. I first held an event where many kids came to make kits for other schools, placing fun cards inside wishing kids a good year. Then, I collected donations from our community and made 25 backpacks full of school supplies. I was so grateful for the opportunity and was able to help kids from the 2023 and 2024 school year obtain the most success!
