Ali Parish

Deputy Director, Central Delivery Unit, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government

As Deputy Director of the Central Delivery Unit at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, Ali leads the project delivery function and profession. She is responsible for the oversight and support for the department’s £40bn portfolio of major projects, for the development of its 400+ project delivery professionals and for implementing a delivery transformation programme to strengthen the underlying practice of project delivery in the department.

Prior to joining the civil service, Ali worked in a variety of strategic planning, project and portfolio roles in higher education and the arts sector. She was recently recognised at the Government Project Delivery Awards, winning the Advancing the Profession award, and is a graduate of the Said Business School’s Major Projects Leadership Academy, as well as an APM Chartered Project Professional.
